The Time Owner collects only the information necessary to operate the ownership registry and respond to contact inquiries.

Information we collect

When you claim a day, we collect: your name, optional bio, optional photo, optional email address, and optional website URL. This information is stored permanently and displayed publicly on your day's record page.

When you contact us via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This is processed by Web3Forms and delivered to us by email.

When you purchase an upgrade (certificate, featured placement), payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

How we use your information

Ownership information is used solely to populate the public registry. Contact information is used to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, share, or use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.

Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to understand site traffic. Fathom does not collect personal data and is GDPR compliant. No cookies are set for analytics purposes.

Data retention

Ownership records are retained indefinitely — that permanence is the product. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You may request correction of your bio, email, or website. The owner name and date of claim are permanent records and cannot be altered. To make a correction request, use the contact form.
